Rotor mill grinding
Controlled particle size reduction of organic, plant and inorganic raw materials, with the granule size you need.

What rotor mill grinding is
It takes a raw material from a coarse form to a powder or granulate with controlled particle size.
In a rotor mill a high-speed rotor breaks the material by impact and cutting; it then passes through a calibrated mesh: change the mesh and the output particle size changes.
Particle size counts
Solubility
The finer the powder, the greater the contact surface and extraction speed.
Flowability
More regular automatic dosing.
Blendability
Uniform distribution of components.
Compressibility
Stronger, more consistent tablets.
The right particle size for each use
| Requirement | Typical particle size |
|---|---|
| Tabletting / capsules | Fine, free-flowing powder |
| Herbal tea cut | Coarser cut |
| Downstream extraction | Fine, to maximise yield |

We handle organic, plant and inorganic raw materials, including caked ones, adapting parameters to each matrix.

What is a rotor mill?
A mill in which a high-speed rotor reduces the raw material by impact and cutting, passing it through a calibrated mesh that determines the particle size.
What particle size can you achieve?
From fine micronised powder to a coarser cut: adjustable screens calibrate the particle size to the final application.
Can you grind caked raw materials?
Yes, we handle organic, plant and inorganic raw materials, including caked ones.
Is it available as a contract service?
Yes, on a toll processing basis for small batches or industrial volumes, and it can be combined with extraction, drying and granulation.
