Spray Dryer plant
The flagship of our production: atomisation and drying that turn liquid into a fine, homogeneous powder.
Precision, particle by particle.
Spray drying turns a liquid into fine powder by atomising it into a stream of hot air: the water evaporates in fractions of a second, leaving solid particles.

What spray drying is
It is among the most widespread drying technologies in the food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical fields.
It turns a liquid (extract, suspension, puree or juice) into a dry, fine and homogeneous powder, rapidly and continuously.
Atomisation in four steps
- 01
Feeding
The liquid is fed to the atomisation system.
- 02
Atomisation
A nozzle or rotary disc breaks it into a cloud of very fine droplets.
- 03
Drying
Hot air evaporates the water in a fraction of a second: each droplet becomes powder.
- 04
Collection
Cyclones and filters separate the powder, ready for packaging.
A few parameters, the powder you need
| Parameter | Effect on the powder |
|---|---|
| Inlet/outlet air temperature | Residual moisture and integrity of sensitive compounds |
| Feed rate | Yield and particle size |
| Atomisation pressure | Fineness and particle size distribution |
| Carrier (type and dose) | Stability, flowability and drying yield |
Where useful, a carrier (maltodextrin, gum arabic) improves yield, stability and flowability.
The advantages of spray dried powder
More stable
Removing water slows degradation and microbial growth.
More concentrated
Efficient to transport, store and dose.
Homogeneous
Controlled particle size, good redispersibility.
Profile preserved
Heat contact reduced to fractions of a second.

Closed and continuous system, short chain: extraction and drying in the same plant, with batch traceability.

What is spray drying?
A technology that turns a liquid into fine powder: the product is sprayed into a chamber with hot air, the water evaporates and solid particles remain.
Which products can be atomised?
Plant extracts, suspensions, purees and juices, as well as organic and inorganic raw materials in liquid form.
Does spray drying degrade the active compounds?
Heat contact lasts fractions of a second, so the functional profile is largely preserved.
Is it available as a contract service?
Yes. We produce the powder to the client's specification, managing assay, moisture, particle size and solubility.
