What plant extraction is
Extraction separates the compounds of interest (polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenes, saponins) from the plant matrix and concentrates them into an extract the industry can use.
It is the step that turns a raw botanical drug into a refined raw material: measurable and reproducible, batch after batch.
Four stages, one chain

Preparation
The botanical drug is checked and reduced in particle size to increase the contact surface.

Extraction
A solvent dissolves the active compounds; temperature, time and drug/solvent ratio define selectivity.

Pasteurisation
Controlled heat treatment that lowers microbial load while preserving the functional profile.

Drying
The extract is brought to the required state: liquid concentrate or dry powder.
Extraction integrates with spray dryer and vacuum dry, so assay, carrier and solubility are calibrated upstream.

What is the difference between a liquid and a dry extract?
The liquid is the concentrated solution obtained after extraction; the dry extract is the same fraction turned into powder by drying: more stable, more concentrated and easier to dose.
Do you offer contract extraction?
Yes. We work mainly on a toll processing basis, from small development batches to industrial volumes, with a complete internal chain.
